Whether you plead guilty or are found guilty in either the Magistrates' Court or Crown Court, an appeal might be appropriate.

All Defendants have an automatic right of appeal by way of re-hearing in relation to any conviction or sentence imposed at a Magistrates' Court. The appeal lies to the Crown Court.

To appeal against conviction or sentence from the Crown Court, requires permission of the Court of Appeal. The law relating to appeals can be complex but we can give you all the advice that you need on this subject.

In addition to conducting routine appeals from the Magistrates' Court to the Crown Court and from the Crown Court to the Court of Appeal, we also have expertise in conducting appeals to the High Court. These appeals might be by way of case stated or judicial review.
